Holding back from words such as “I don’t love you” and “I don’t feel the same way”. Wish for a rain to fall to washed away those tears from her eyes….

Rain must run through your tears

I want to hold back

From the things I said

Eyes shine with fitful light

Like sea where sun reflects

And fears have now collect

Your one sad soul

From one odd fall

Another cloudy day

Dark gloom on its way

Shaded your full face

If I see the falling rain

It’s okay for you to cry

To run through your tears

I will be seeing those fears

Walking away from me

Trembling steps

I ask the lord

For the rain to unfold

Because…..

Rain must run through your tears.
