True love will never end.

And, when winter kisses away
Morning’s chill
Oh where o’ where
Shall we be still?
Once we spent the afternoon
‘Neath Samson’s sweet
Apple tree
It was full of life
Bursting with light
It swayed to the rhythm
We softly hummed
We picked its fruit
And, passionately
Became one
In springtime’s youth
We danced
‘Neath Jupiter’s
Neighboring moon
We laughed
Unbridled
And tasted
The touch of love
Far too soon.
In Autumn’s fall
We spent evenings
Gazing at stars
Atop haystack walls
Your eyes twinkled anew
Filled with blossoming affections
So innocent and true
At rainbow’s
Brightest bend
We quietly smiled
Knowing
This dream of two
Would never end.
