This is just a bit of fun I was having on a rainy evening. This is a bit like a Dr.Seuss book.

Tap, tap, tap! The raindrops fall.

They hit the roof, run down the walls.

Drip, drip, drip, on top the tin.

They slow in pace then speed again.

Plip, plop, plip, pop, plung, plung, plung

They start again a song they’ve sung.

Rip, rap, rip, rap, pling, ping, pang

What a song the raindrops sang

Tap, tap, tap, tap, on the cars

Ping, ping, pong, pong, on the bars

Dripping, dropping on the ground

Pipping, popping, all around

And glipping, glopping swish, swoosh, swish

All we need are raining fish

Tip, tip, tip! When will it stop?

This tap, drip, plip, ping, pang, and plop?

Tap, tap, tap and tip, tip, tip

Plop, plop, plop and plip, plip, plip

What a rainy, rainy night

This is rains music delight

I wonder what they’re trying to say

Dad says, “It is too wet to play.”

Tap, drip, plip, plop, plung, plang, pling

I’ll sit and listen to them sing.
