It ain’t easy raising kids these days!
Raising them alone is hard in so many ways!
Everything rests on your shoulders you know.
From food to shelter…
From clothes to shoes…
From homework to behavior…
From God to friends…
All of this rests on you in the end.

It just ain’t easy raising kids these days!
Raising them alone is harder I say!
Who alone but you get the questions?
Who alone but you get the complaints?
Who alone but you get the runny noses, the fevers,
and the bodies that grow way too fast?

I tell you, it ain’t easy raising kids these days!
Yes! You get all of these things that makes raising them so hard…
But you get the funny stories that no one else can tell…
You get those pictures that mean so much to them…
You get those deep conversations that you remember for years
You even get the satifaction of knowing you did well…
You and God did very well!! 

So yes!  We all know it ain’t easy raising kids alone these days
But if you train them in the way that they should go,
It will surely be worth it you know!
