Writing a waikiki rain-bow day.
It all began on a sunny day
After the showers had gone away
Let umbrellas be folded and stashed
Despite a few clouds and rainchecks cashed
Dapper and chipper in bright colored frocks
Shrivelled up flowers now open in mock
Prestige and pomp strolling in the gold beams
Scarred only slightly by the dried up streams
Breezy tradwinds tossle freshly washed curls
Announce with a “snap” as the sail unfurls
Dream of drifting on the glassy sea
Finish the day under a lazy palm tree
Down at the shoreline of Waikiki.
