Random Sayings is a collection of short words & wrtten bits, that I wrote and compiled from the notes within many cooking book notebooks and scrap sheets of paper, that I had written over some years in very random places.

Live with courage, die with honour
To have love and to know it is a gift and a very special thing.
Give a gentle hand when needed and grasp tightly when you must.
Trust is not given like a gift it is earned.
Envy turns to jealousy and jealousy turns to spite.
Respect the woman who is the other half of you and she will respect you.
Never give up on something you had once thought so passionately about to begin.
To have been loved once is a gift, twice is a prize but to be loved forever is love without the eyes.
A harsh tone does hinder, a sharp hand does smite even a disapproving look does give shivers in the night.
Love and compassion are far greater than hate and destine
We each fight an unknowing battle each and every day, but we each fight this battle in our very own way.
A kind word and gentle smile can inspire and can also heal, so smile and say something kind now and then it may even get you a free meal.
Love passionately, love unconditionally, love fully and love for eternity.
Love is tender and gentle all of the time but also firm and bellowing some of the times.
A man is a man most when he does not realise that he is being watched.
Good friends are there to share good times and bad no matter how happy you are or how very sad.
If could I would, but I cant so I shan’t.
