Some persons are like rattlesnakes without a silencer. They lay low waiting for us to strike when we least expect. People should be on guard by watching our neighbor’s back.
Why do some people
Have to crawl in bushes
To lay wait their prey
So as to strike, maim
Rob and kill?
- – -
You’ll never suspect
They are there
As you walk
In the dark to your car
- – -
These individuals
Wait for the innocent
Young and strong alike
Among us
To commit horrible acts
- – -
Are these persons so convoluted
That they don’t care
About the sanctity of life?
Or, are they just callous
Hardened by a bad hand
That life has dealt them?
- – -
We might never know
But their acts
Are reprehensible
They are like rattlesnakes
With a silencer
And have to be stopped
- – -
Many strike
When they feel
No one is watching
And quickly dash
Form the scene
Of these atrocious acts
- – -
People ought
To take precaution
Band together
And be on the look out
For these common criminals

Your actions
Might very well
Prevent more vicious acts
From happening
