A poem about a woman who can let go of a relationship that is already dead.

Razor

I don’t have time

To witness all your crimes.

I can’t conceive the pleasure running down your spine.

If you wish to be with me

To be vacant, to be free.

Just give me one chance, don’t deny me.

But you bring me down every chance you get.

Your words cut like a razor inside my head.

Now, all the laughter turns to shreds.

There is no more to be said.

It’s dead.

There’s no point in placing blame.

Your excuses to stay seem so lame.

In this I have no shame,

But fear shivers in my bones.

I wish not to be alone.

But you cut bring me every chance you get.

Your words cut like a razor inside my head.

I wish I had the strength to leave.

You anger now I can’t conceive.

I want only be.

Very nice poem, it reminds me of my ex girlfriend, for her the relationship was over, but for me, it wasn’t, I was thinking about her day and night trying to convince myself that the love still existed. It took half a year to realise, so I can really relate to this poem.

A good example of how though letting go could be. Persons suffering from a breakup need support, they need to let that person go from their minds, but meanwhile, they can be very creative indeed. Nice poem!

Such sad words make me remind that sadness is sometimes a real source of loving poetry, beautiful music and in short, most of the most beautiful works of art.

I wish I had the strength to leave…

That is exactly the way someday I felt about some girlfriend I lost. It is so hard to let someone to disappear from your life… Once I knew how I managed to accomplish this, I resolved to help others in the same situation.

  • How can I get married on May 8, 2012

I am very sure that suffering from a breakup awakes the talent of an artist to create beautiful works of art, being wheter music, painting, literature, theatre or poetry, the most beautiful products come from a person suffering from a deep feeling of lost about a person they loved very much. That’s the most sublime product from sadness. Congratulations, your work is very beautiful.

Furthermore: who made the most beautiful works of art in painting, in music, in poetry, in writing a book, in sculpture? Try to think about examples about any specific example you can find at this moment, and then try to find the real inspiration behind it. Most times you will find that the artist was trying to expressing his/her sadness in a creative way, making it a sublime product that most people consider beautiful.
