My house feels like an oven

I’m over heated

my body is hot and sticky

I itch all over

I don’t like hot flashes

there is nothing I can do

my medicine makes it worse

I feel like an old automobile

whose thermostat went haywire

within minutes hot and sweaty

the next five freezing cold

Menopause has started

it’s going to be a long

uncomfortable journey through life

I’m sensitve to meds

so can’t take a lot

I have to be specific

pay attention to detail

and maintain a written log.
