This is a poem about my grandpa who I loved very much, and if you are a grandpa’s girl like me you’ll love it!
I reach out,
To find that your not there.
I wonder where you are,
Where is this place,
That you seek peace?
Where you rest today,
Even though I still miss you.
You can’t come back,
I wish you could though.
Where is this place,
That you seek peace?
I miss you,
I love you,
And we all do.
I wish I could be held by you,
Just once more,
Just one more time.
Where is this place,
That you seek peace?
I’ll wait till that day,
Where I’m let through the gate,
The gate of heaven.
Where is this place,
That you seek peace?
I reach out,
To find your not there.
