A poem about a world of globalization and winners and losers.

In a world where the consumer welcomes difference

Will they also accept change?

In a world of pounds and pence

Does globalization have a range?

Higher demands for ‘wants’

Outweigh the basic ‘need’

“I’m bigger than you!” taunts

A brainwashed planted seed

“Buy! Buy!”

“Sell! Sell!”

Whom shall we today deny

Daily becomes another’s hell

“I’m alright Jack!”

As I look down on you

Read between the printed black

Life shouldn’t be this true!

    Excellent philosophy in poetic form.
