“Jersey Shore” a prime time example

of a culture going/gone to hell

When immense fame is achieved

and many dollars spent

devoid of any “real” talent 

or having a “gift” that actually

helps or betters mainstream society

in some/any way…

Media propelling caricatures

of “real people” to stardom

barely a difference from ancient Rome

watching spectacles of death

in the colosseum

Because nothing “real” is there

all manufactured by the producers of shows

No true factor of humanity

or moral standard present

How might this trend be reversed?

Without finding an answer soon

afraid we all just might be doomed

to a living hell here on Earth
