This is the reality of love on my own opinion.=)

Nobody wanted to be alone

Assurance to be loved is unknown

Some may give a perfect love story

Yet he’s not the one you marry.

**

He’s just a chapter of your book

There’s a lot more just take a look

We just needed to be broken hearted

To learn to treasure being connected.

**

And somehow we feel relieved

After all the times we’ve grieved

Still, the pain isn’t missing

A part of us seems dying.

**

The mutual feeling’s gone

Reminiscing us is banned

How can I move on and start anew

If all I’m thinking is you?

**

To completely fall out of love

A new friend is a must to have

Since we needed a point of attention

To be able to build new relation.

**

Befriending first is a nice option

Spend time and share each other’s notion

Being lovers isn’t necessary

What matters is enjoying the company.

**

The first break up may seem a torture

But definitely made you more matured

You’re not anymore that weak lady

Who can’t live without that somebody.

Love can take us through a whole range of other emotions. And I think those last few lines are great advice to all women who think they need a man to complete them or make them happy. Unless you are happy with yourself, and a complete person youself, no one will fill the void.

    Good write!

Jane—>I’m not sure what the theme of your poem is – smart love, real love or tough love – either way, they’re all wholehearted and satisfying. Good poem.

Very nice. Yeah, there are a lot of women especially younger girls who think that if they don’t have a man their world will fall apart. They have a lot to learn about love right. can you pls explain to me why you think that being broken hearted helps you to feel more connected? thanks.

Your creative writing implies that we become more sympathetic after we have experienced some trama and pain. It reminds me of this Republican fellow who had spent his life defending the policies which aided only a few, but terminally ill, his pain made him feel as if he perhaps had done some great wrong which he regreted.
