So I’m empty and bruised, I ate too many greens, now I feel the blues.
Cut on the side of the bedclothes
Let’s check we got all our toes
All ten out of ten, this blows
What to follow when the love goes?
I feel sad on CD’s burnt with an addictive drive
Another relationship kept alive
But no one would catch me if I dive
No one would care if I suddenly died
And don’t pretend to disagree with a fool’s delusion
He’s only obsessed in his own illusions
Come depressed with his lonely conclusions
Meeting tears and sperm in saddening fusions
The maddening abuses us both, as we coast the side of the bed
No kids the future promises to comfort a battered head
The shattered fled from the palace’s towers
Made a new mindset in less than 3 hours
To all the free powers, you’re blessed over a neighbourhood’s shit
I was too much of a human to ever really fit
So now I’ve gotta go, but I guess we’ll never know where
Maybe life was a granted wish, but now it’s a dare
Why would the lukewarm lifestyles care with lucrative pads to spare
covering the hearts left behind
With deft touches on the mind
The past stays put, but we can still take a look
A faking crook pretends the dock was always his home
The judge is not amused, no sympathy for the abused
So I’m empty and bruised, I ate too many greens, now I feel the blues
My parents word was my gospel, now I’m dropped in a cell
Stopped before I fell, not even a soul to sell
I guess you could always tell this bridge would break
Everyone’s gone to the prom, I have no date to take
I have no fate at stake, straight to the gate
Out of the keys, on the knees stay the desperate parents
Too much of a difference to go for variance
Let’s read the fairy rents, and what the scary monsters spent
On flash whatevers that only lasted as long as their painted nails
But I’ll still be waiting for my miracle if all else fails
