Red Tape is a poem that I wrote one day when frustrated with red tape and wanted to give my love something to reassure her that things will work out one day.

Red Tape

Anyone would have thought that two people wanting to be together for the rest of there days would be enough, not many would realise that though it sounds simple, it is in fact so very tough.

Being separated by a great distance and a big blue sea being one big obstacle that stands between my love and me fulfilling our very own united destiny.

Though the sea is a great expanse and hard to cross we live in modern times so it can be done with cash and is not a great loss no matter how many times I would need to go across.

The real hard thing for me and my love that is sometimes overwhelming and confusing to us both equally, is that it is so very difficult to find reliable good information especially for free, the kind of information that mean I can be with her and she can be with me.

Though it is confusing and sometimes disheartening for us both to have to confront as we try to unite our lives, we will one day cut through the red tape whether it be with scissors or sharp knives, then together finally we can be husband and wife and say we have one life instead of our own lives.

As we investigate, inform, research, trip and stumble our way through to getting our one day, our love and partnership is strong in everywhere just as it will be until our end of days, a love torrent of furry and passion that would dazzle and amaze.

For all of the challenges and hard times to come we will face together each and everyday, our waiting for each other and realistic views of how and what to come one day, never are we running out of things to do or say.

Finally our dream, desires, wants and hopes that we have for one and other that run so very true and deep, like the greatest of the falls, will run a steady cause through our union of life until god and nature calls.
