The varied images or shades or reflections and appearances of breath are depicted in this poem.
The melody of the breath strummed on the strings of guitar of life
Or mellifluous notes of breath born in the flutes of nostrils
The fragrant breath of the rose that opens up in the dawn
Liberated with a scented sigh from tentacles of sepals
Or the soporific breath of the poppy that lulls mortals asleep
The rejuvenating breath of the early morning draught
And the breathing sigh of relief and rest after hard labour
Breath is the string of life beaded with moments as pearls
Frozen visible breath of a foggy morning in winter
Seen as moisture on the faces of chilly panes of glass
Breath of gasping frailty from a wheezing asthmatic
Breath of nonchalance blown in the wind with cigarette puff
Warmth breathed by the blower in the frost of winter
And the cool breath of the airconditioner in sultry summer
Keen breath of a tiger hunting for its prey
Breath taken in deep bouts during exercise
Breath of energy and vitality of an athelete in motion
Breath of ecstasy in the mouth of a frothing bottle of champagne
Breath of innocence from nostrils of a sleeping baby
The sonorous breath of a snoring fat man
Breath of subtlety woven in a whispered sentence
Breath of laughter in a stifled giggle
Breath blown through pursed lips into a shrill whistle
And the last breath taken before chord of life snaps
The reflections of varied images of breath have prismatic shades…
