It seem all to frequent

The rejection letter no offer granted

It is depressing at times they never stop

Rejection response in the back of my mind

They say I do not meet their requirements

They say my experience and background is not good enough

According to the rejection letter sent

They found someone else to fill that slot

I place this rejection letter with all the others

Knowing this is not the last rejection letter

I will keep trying and applying for work

I will keep moving forward believing in my ability I must

With a belief and faith in my capability

I can counter weight the negativity

Like water off a duck back

Rejection letter will soon pass

And when rejection turns into acceptance letters

I will look at them and smile

With determination and hard work

I will soon exit this tunnel of gloom to success
