An Ode to anyone who has ever felt that skip in their heartbeat, butterflies in their stomach and the elated sigh we all long for.
Her blinding eyes in blissful shadows, tattered talons fanning the gallows
Calypso trickling tears of summer, upon her breasts they fall asunder
A pulsing heart, an embraced smile,
hidden abound, all this while
Soft delicate lips puckered and pout, gaze so deep I’m nonexistent without
Fairy tale tunes flutter off her tongue, platinum hair billowing under my thumb
Relentless and bold, a bleeding old soul
Her milky soft skin, with a touch of marigold
Ailing skies fall of crimson hearts, she taste forevermore of a thousand tarts
hazy breezes and weeping willows, share softly this kiss in the midnight’s afterglows
