A Shakespearean Sonnet I wrote in 8th grade describing my opinion of religion.

Exposed to plague, his wrath foolish mortal behold

Obdurate ears listen, my credenda wasted.

Our prophecies fortold, your empty lives unfold.

Witness blood of the innocent spilt, and tasted

Oh, to hearken and trpid near these ravens cry.

Fear not the diseased corpses among rotting flesh;

This unequal unfathomable force draws nigh,

Cross bridge of darkness, forever eclisped in deaths press.

Worthless hippocrites behave uncouth

your idols fall for humanities sake.

Repent the rapture and embrace my truth:

Your mock angels with melancholy eyes,

Couldn’t protect sanctuaries of lies.
