What will you do when you’re departing from your loved one? You’ll exchange gifts, cry, etc. You’ll tell each other how do you feel about it but how will you put it in a verse? I guess the answer is below! It’s a perfect poem to tell you loved one before you’re going separate ways, temporarily.

REMEMBER ME..

Farewell my love,

‘Cause destiny has given me such a shove

I have to go away from you.

But you’ll remember me, won’t you?

I go by compulsion and not by choice.

But I will always carry your voice

‘Cause I can’t live without you.

And you’ll remember me, won’t you?

You were supposed to be mine

And I was supposed to yours by God’s design.

I will wait for these days only for you.

You’ll remember me, won’t you?

I shall go away physically but not mentally

And then I’ll be there to haunt you totally.

My haunting shall remind you of me and me of you.

You’ll remember me, won’t you?

I cannot stop your lolling tear

And that’s the only thing I fear,

As I won’t be there to wipe them,

Off my gem.

I don’t fear the separation,

Nor do I fear my destination.

I fear the sadness’ lawn

Which will be created when I’ll be gone.

So hard are the times

That I cannot compose life’s rhymes.

I want to be in your embrace

‘Cause that’s the only place where I can find solace.

You’ll be in my heart, always.

And I will be in your heart for the torturous days.

Your heart is my abode.

It’s the only place where my blood has flowed.

You’re the legend, You’re the one,

You’re mine, I’m yours.

You’re the moon, You’re the sun

And to be with you, am ready to fight the wars.

I’ll wait for you,

You’ll be in my mind like a frozen dew.

Girl, I love you

But promise me that you’ll remember me, will you?
