I wrote this one on the second year anniversary of 9-11.

It’s been two years now,
since the Twin Towers hit the ground.
Terrorist attacked our land,
Part of the Pentagon came tumbling down.
~
Thousands of friends and families,
Lost their lives that day.
Terrorist stoled our planes,
In cold blood they took those lives away.
~
They thought that they would stop us,
But each American took a hand.
Our country only grew stronger,
As united we’ll always stand.
~
Our troops all came together,
Going off to defend our honor.
America is out to get the terrorist,
Hunting them by land, air and water.
~
Now we stand tall in memory,
in honor of the lost lives.
Today we still remember them all,
Mothers, Fathers, Sisters, Brothers, Husbands and Wives. GOD BLESS THEM ALL !!!

that was lovely. I also did an article on the 9/11 attacks but the last two pieces of my work have not been published yet!? I even resubmitted that one.

We must remember all of these people and give their families enough strength after this tragedy. Good remembrance poem.

Poignant tribute, Collette. One of the darkest days in human history.
