You are my bliss.

I close my eyes and you are next to me
I shift my gaze
And the sun-light
Falls
Over there.

And those piano keys
Never looked so white
She shined them yesterday
She touched my cheek
It was a fine day.

My thoughts rest peacefully, beautifully

I sat here
And watched him play a bit more
On that swing
That swished and swayed
In the wind, in the breeze
On that Wednesday, so fair

To the Ferris wheel again
Cotton candy in hand
It’s pink and fluffy
Like those billowing soft
Clouds up up
In the air

I see elephants and dolphins
Diving in the sky, blue
They dip and glide
And gleefully play
Make me merrily sigh

And, remind me of innocence
And, remind me of you.

There was a childlike quality to this poem that touched my heart, like a rememberance, toying with my emotions. It took me back to when my son was a toddler and the joy of life could be seen on his face! Beautiful, thanks.

Loved this! I remembered myself sitting at the piano and playing wonderful music. I then was at the circus amongst my favorites, especially cotton candy. Such fun to recall those pleasant memories of yesteryear. Now to relive them when it is myself taking my kids. How pleasant old memories are, then to look forward to recreating them. Thanks for spreading the happiness through your words.

Yes indeed childlike quality. It reminds me of my kids also. What wonderful thoughts they are. Wonderful poem. Thanks.

A whirly experience I found, going form one place to the bnext but I sense and underlying pain and loss. I really enjoyed it. You have a nice tempo and rhythm to your poem.
