The trend of today is compromise at the expense of leaving the fundamental doctrines of the faith. God’s Word has not changed. Jesus said not one dot or tittle would be changed. We need to revisit the landmarks of the faith.

This picture was taken by me. These boundry marks are almost 200 years old. They and many like them are found in and around the small village of Quaker, which straddles the Indiana/Illinois border.
They call the faith old-fashioned,
“It’s not in-touch with time.”
But God has never changed His stand,
He’s always toed the line.
Remove not the ancient landmarks
That have stood the test of time,
The Bible truths we’ve held so dear.
Don’t cross the sacred line.
It’s still the blood that changes lives
And makes us clean within.
The blood of Christ has paid the price
And removed our every sin.
We modernize and socialize
And change to suit “our need”.
But the Bible never changes.
It’s the Word of God indeed.
I stand upon the Rock of Christ
The Truth, the Life the Way.
Other ones may come and go
But on this Rock I’ll stay.
