Renewing love.

My breath breathes in you,
and whispers of soft innocence.

Like a child that has taken
their first step,
you cling to me.

My heart becomes you.

In unknown subordination
it gives in.
A surrender of obstinate greed,
it releases.

My instability gains reason,
and becomes strength
to possess words.
Words that could never come
on frozen tongue.

Once you had been swept away
on the tides of indecision.
Taken to drown in sorrow.

A place where tears don’t matter
because they are all the same.

Like a motion never ceased,
the waves breathe in return.

Renewing life.
Renewing love eternal.
