I thought it was all lost in space
Drifting further away as time past
But when my eyes get heavy
I see a new reality that takes me back

She looks like a dream
When I gaze my eyes rise and fall sleepily
Until the trance is steady enough for me to realize where I am
But who I’m with is foggy

The scenery is the same
So are flirty gestures
Thrown between two attractive people
That still look to hazy to fully trust

After while I wake up from the delusion
But it’s only a matter of time
Before one must return to sleep

I’m afraid of the nightmare
That it has turned into in the past
The end of the cycle of dreams
Where the woman says good bye

Plaguing my daydreams with depression
Staring at loneliness in a dark room with my eyes closed
Knowing that a reoccurring dream
Is where history can repeat itself
And I’m so tired of running in circles
