Poem Number One in my "Through the Leaves." a Poetry, collection.

REPLICA

Dance in the wind,
I can sing in the rain.
Play in the sand,
I can prance under moonlight.

This I can do when I am forty feet tall
smile at the sun
when I am small.

I am a replica.

The wind it will move my body.
My voice is heard when the cloud pours from its hold.
In my youth I am king of the box
and when night falls I am the master of my step.

These are my records when I am a giant in the field.
My face is warmed as I kneel.

I am a replica.
