After refreshing my self in her company, I set onward for yet another journey.

It was dawn and I was departing.
She gave me the most affectionate kiss.
Still were there no parting tears.
As though she was assured
as to the links of love were not to defunct,
albeit I go far afield.
Perchance she had ways and means
to keep contact intact evermore.
From her reserves, then she
took out a coin, golden, glittering,
with her glossy figure embossed up on it,
and kept it close to hear eyes a jiffy.
She then poured a prayer into it,
as though she was carefully restocking
It with a piece of her soul !
Instead of placing it into my hands,
She herself put it into the pocket
over my chest and then fastened it.
She looked into my eyes and smiled.
Aye.. my dear, you are ready for the show!
On the way my hands went on its own
In search of the coin
that she cautiously kept.
Let me take it out and have a look at it.
At first I made a casual attempt.
Then I worked hard at it.
Oh! No! I can’t !
The packet is sealed.
And I can’t break it !
