A man returning home from a business trip.

Driving for two hundred miles,
I’m feeling tired and achy.
I think that it is time for me
To relax because I’m shaky.
I’ll just park my car at the old rest stop,
Get out of my car and unwind.
I’ll have a little snack to eat,
And shake the cobwebs out of my mind.
The business trip was very important,
But now I’m just driving home.
I’ll be home again in a couple hours,
And I won’t feel all alone.
I’ll hug my wife and my children,
It’s been a long, grinding week.
I’ll be as happy as a daisy
For it’s my family that I seek.
