The resurrection of Christ. And how he made himself known to the world.
Luke 24:6-7 says,
He is not here, he has risen! Remember how he told you while he was still with you in Galilee. “The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again”.
His resurrection has begun,
And his face,
Was shinning brighter than the sun.
It was now the third day.
And at the tomb
The stone was rolled away.
As soon as the women saw the angels, they bowed down.
They were so afraid
Their faces to the ground.
The angels said,
Why are you looking for the living
Among the dead?
He has risen, he’s not here.
And in Galilee
He will soon appear.
After he came running up to the tomb,
All he saw was linen,
Inside this dark and empty room.
They all wondered how can this be.
when they saw him die
Hanging on a tree.
And why didn’t they believe?
Everything that he said
Had been conceived.
Don’t they remember what the prophets had said,
He will arise,
And come back from the dead.
He talked with two men on the road.
But they had no idea
To whom the story was being told.
He was asked to stay for the night
But when they recognized him,
He disappeared out of sight.
Only when he gave thanks and broke the bread
The lights came on
Inside their head.
When the ones that loved him the most
Had seen him,
They all taught he was a ghost.
Because of their own disbelief,
He showed them where he was pierced.
Even his hands and feet.
Every thing spoken in the bible is true,
He has risen
And has come to save sinners like me and you.
In his name, repentance and forgiveness of sins must be preached.
And to every nation
Their hearts must be reached.
He came to fulfill the Laws of Moses, The Prophets, and The Psalms.
Everything that was ever written about him,
He had become.
His resurrection has now begun.
He was God’s
Only begotten Son.
John 20:17 says,
Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to my Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.”
