While looking at Pictures of Micheal’s Neverland on the Internet, this piece came to me. The pictures I saw told a story about who had it built and once lived there. No,I am not glorifying him at all or making him any less then a human being with flaws. This is just the result of a sleepless night and a curiosity about where Micheal lived. And I did hear on the news he wanted to be buried there but wasn’t.Please don’t judge me to bad because I wrote this fantasy piece about Micheal.
Return Me To Neverland
Well, I was a living soul until this June of this year,
but now you know I am long gone from this earth.
I know I made a will and sure it was carried out,
but I ask you to consider fulfilling my last request.
****
Return me to the place where I seek eternal peace,
where I once found solace for my tired tortured soul.
Letting me get away from my numerous fans attention,
giving me a chance to be a normal man for a change.

In my Neverland I am still the king of pop and still famous,
but can relax behind the huge iron gates that protects me.
Giving me a break from the concerts and massive fans,
Even an iconic legend needs to rest and catch his breath.

I want to fly with Wendy and Peter Pan and the others,
I need no wings just some fairy’s magical dust is all.
I will never get old, sick or even perform on stage again,
finally finding some peace that eluded me all my life.

But my family is not on this journey with me now,
this is one journey I have to do alone without help.
But would I trade the life I lived while I was living,
probably not since it was one incredible experience.

The man in the moon and his fiddle is fantastic,
but I know I can give him some stiff competition.
I don’t really want to upset his long term legend,
maybe sometime he will let me sing a song to.

So please return me to Neverland if possible,
let me find my eternal rest where I loved to be.
Remember me in whatever fashion you want,
but remember that I was human and had flaws to.
