A poem about the soul.

We all seek our reverence in a different way,
Wishing for hope in every new desired day,
I say my prayers for every single living one,
While kneeling before God’s new shining sun.
All of death and life are one and the same,
Giving to each other to share all the blame,
For each of us has sinned and been forgiven,
And we all share the same life we are living.
Man is a creature of God’s taste,
Even those who are a beautiful waste,
Man is a flicker of hope in a flame,
Wishing someday all are thoughts will be tame.
Before we were beings we were stardust,
Everything the Creator could ever trust,
Then physical bodies were given free will,
But then we just decided to harm and kill.
But we can all make it right in the end,
First we must call out to defend,
Every thought we have made others’ feel,
Then all things to our souls will be real.
