Poem.

I’m optimistic

when I look to the ground

and nothing is everything

when you are around.

Because I hate living

when I love to breathe

Swimming under the water

with no hands or feet.

Sinking my ship

When I’m setting sail

Succeeding at life

while I try to fail.

There is no difference

between right and wrong

it’s just the reverse

of the inverse where you belong.

Think with your hearbeat

and do with the pulse

and accept that you’re included

when there’s no one else.

Wow, sounds too good for a 16 year old (if that’s true). Anyway you beat me into that since I haven’t made a poem by myself at 39. 75 cents is way too much than 2 cents I earned these last few days. Anyway , why dead poet? You’re more alive than your lines say.

This was really good, and I think applies to many of us. Amazing how we at times sabotage ourselves with our own and often unacknowledged thoughts.
