Something to treasure.

If I wasn’t a poor lady

What will I be?

Maybe a company president,

And live life with contentment.

Or maybe a rich single lady

With a lot of guys crazy over me.

But if you’ll ask me,

I want a complete family

With parents loving me deeply

And siblings making me happy.

This really touches home with me since I have come to the realization that I never really had a family (4 siblings spread out in age so much that I didn’t grow up with them). Can’t remember my siblings ever making me happy. :(

    Nice poem.

Hello Jane! I like your poem! because it speaks of the love. And for my, if one has love is rich, it has everything, because podras to have all the money of the world, and everything what you wish, but you do not have love in your heart, nothing you have. That the love, always this in your heart. Greetings. Bettys from Argentina

I enjoyed your poem. To me it said that happiness shouldn’t include having money…It’s the exact way I see things : )) Nice work!
