Rich .. or Intelligent ..?

I am in great difficulty, today when SANTA came to my house. I requested him for one blessing. SANTA said " Girish you have just one choice ,either you can become rich or you can choose intelligence? you can’t choose both. Think over it and tell me ‘.

Today SANTA has given me two options ,

Either i can become rich or intelligent ,

I can’t choose ” both ‘

I want and need if i have both

I want to able to be able to payoff debts ,

live safely and securely ,

I want to be street smart as well as book smart ,

I want to be intelligent enough to answer any question ,

and understand how every thing works ,

I want to afford things , but

If i prefer to be intelligent than rich ,

why all intelligent people are not rich ,

and the reverse is also true ,

and if i become rich i can buy intelligence ,

but if i am rich but stupid ,

How i shall manage intelligence ?

and I will lose every thing ,

No i have ’ decided ‘

I’d prefer to be an intelligent than rich ,

Intelligence to be acquired is a systematic process ,

We call it a disciplined way ,

I love knowledge , knowledge is the key to all ,

and can open the world to you ,

In Einstein words ‘ Try not to become the man of success ‘

‘ rather try to become the man of value ‘

It depends upon each person’s definition of success ,

and most rich people are rich of ‘ value ‘

I will ask SANTA ‘ Intelligence ‘ for sure ,

i know all intelligent people are not rich ,

and the reverse is also true ,

but ’ VALUE ‘ can be accumulated easily using intelligence ,

I will become the ; man of value ‘

which is the biggest asset for any human ,

I think I’d go for rich. As long as I’m not so dumb that I’m sticking forks in toasters or anything, I’ll take the cash over the brains.

I thank God that Santa has no control over this matter concerning me. Cause I refuse to choose one over the other. I love knowledge and learning. Too much money creates problems that a man with no intelligence couldn’t handle; he wouldn’t be rich long.

I would have chosen being rich over intelligence. Just because I could give alot of my money to Charities and organizations that really need help out there. Which to me I believe is an act of God’s love and I value God’s love it shows wisdom, truth, understanding and so much more. Thats my opinnon. This is a very good poem and the title of it is definitly something to think about. Which I like!

Definitely intelligence! Even if you don’t end up with a lot of money, you can do people much more good when you have a few working parts of your brain!
