Poem about “letting go” and being in the present moment.

Behing you I stand, is where I should stand, understanding
And unselfish that you, too,
Should have time to flourish and grow.
Today, I lay still in this waking moment.
I have no harsh words for you.
I have no bitterness or misguided dreams
to grow apart from.
No fleeting words to make your sun do down
Faster than it should.
I have captured the clouds.   White, puffy clouds
Stuck in my hair, the scent of Heaven on my breath
And new dreams to dream of.
I step away – beyond the boyish contemplation -
Into subtle manhood.  Redefining strength.
Reshaping my rainbows to the  colors best suited
For my soul.
Rooted once again in laughter and to be healed
Of all things God never said.
I have no harsh words for you.
I have no religion to preach of -
No redemption to cloud the third eys’s self-awareness.
Clarity shows me a clear point of view
And I stay focused and sustained
In knowledge of a greater kind.
A self-healing illumination of the
Mind, body and spirit.
I travel onward but back to the source
From which I came through to exist.
In my stability, I hope I add color to your dreams
And lay a foundation of love before you to build upon.
Whatever it is you wish.
On my knees, praying that we think alike,
At my most profound piece of inner peace,
I have no harsh words for you.
I have no jealousy to drink and bathe in.
Unnecessary punishment that keep us both down.
I am at home in the flowers and garden
Of my greater imagination to build
And put forth happiness -
That which carries itself across the threshold of unknowing.
I have captured the rain.  The purest of rain stuck in my hair,
The scent of Heaven on my breath
And new dreams to dream of.
Full faith that my brother should see me
In stillness and light and the possibility
Of his future’s future.
I easily move beyond the ego into non-pride
And there, I sit, poised at my ancestor’s feeding table,
Hungry for the Universal goodness and a profound
Sense of naturalness and self-preservation.
I have captured the sun.  The brightest of sun
Stuck in my hair, the scent of Heaven on my breath
And new dreams to dream of.
Dreaming on my knees, praying that we think alike.
I have no bitterness or misguided dreams to grow apart from.
I have no harsh words for you.
I am speechless.
