I felt like putting some rythmn in my poetry with modern sounds of music. I like the sound of all music. But these just set me in the mood for this moment to put it into poetic form. So I thought I’d share this verse I made up within the space of three minutes as I was taking a stroll with pen and paper in hand.
I have to break dance
To get back on track
Hip! hop! back!
With a drum and base
Can you hear the beat
With a little soul!
In my heart
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Clap with the rapper
Rap! Rap! Rap!
Roll with a rocker!
Roll! Roll! Roll!
R and B will set my ways
Homeward bound I will sway!
