Self confidence poem.

You promise you’d never hurt her
You’d never do nothing to cause her pain
Now she sitting here crying at the window watching you leave
I guess that’s why they call it window pane
She ask for a second chance
But this is reality and not a video game, you don’t get second chances
She is getting back up and she is doing her
She doing this for her, so fuck the world
No ifs, ands, or buts
No more giving up and quitting
She standing her ground
Facing her demons
Facing her mistakes
Facing her flaws
She had enough, she is fed up
She’s standing up tall
Her middle fingers in the air saying fuck the world
She throwing out the bottles
She opening the bibles
She walks around thinking about you more than she can forget
Don’t go around not expecting her to break a sweat
Her number two pencil has a sharper point than a needle
She scribbles rhymes that she thinking about spitting out but starts over with new ones
That is gonna make a big difference when she rip her past in half and never looks back
She sets fire to the mic and ignites the crowd
You can see sparks from the hot metal
Her fire brighter than it was ever allowed
Fire thrashing as if it was the devil
Now cold hearted, she can’t get hurt anymore
Don’t come knocking on her door
Asking for a second chance, that will only cause an uproar
You won’t hurt her again
You won’t cause her pain again
She is born anew
