A mixture of poem’s ,and just open thoughts cheers.
Outside in the darkness
Beyond my window pain
The rat still crawls and the
Cat still meows… But still
Calls for change keep on
Calling! people out in numbers
People need some change…
Down in the city
There are two legged rodents
Its your last penny that they want
Hope is all that’s left to us.
…
Well, it seems that it is getting to that
Time once more where all we can do
Is look back at the Times we have all
Travelled through with all it’s ups and Downs
Some of us have witnessed times of hardship
Day’s of johnny valenty [ plenty ]
Bellow is a poem from 1992…
Word for word no editing
I think it lead to a month or three ranting.
.
It’s Ninety two
An Times a new
For having new Ideas
New Job’s on the Broo! [unemployment]
New philosophy’s too…
Like being a political animal
Eat sleep talk read write
Of political rights?
And you will get the
Government you Get…
26/1/92.
That wee note I found just the other day
Written before the Election of 1992
So what happened…
There were 12 Tory’s voted in: in
SCOTLAND most people believed Labours mince
That a vote for SNP was a wasted vote
What was a wasted vote was Labour
What happened we got a Tory Government
For the 4th time in a row!!
So it was not until 97 we had the big change
We needed so not only did we get a devolved
Government and at this Time
Not one Tory north of Hadrian’s wall
Was voted in was that democracy at work
Or 5 more years of Divide and conquer?
Now the big Question is being asked for real
For the first time in over 300 years
We now have the chance over the next two years
To give it some serious thought and feel at least
This one is run by Scots for Scots so it will be fair
We need no help nor hindrance David George Nick
If the People vote for Independence just think how comfy
Your majority would be and how nice for us up here
Who would see the end of lots n lots O corruption
Amongst many other pluses so maybe you should
Come taunt us some more cheers.
