Life is too short to let it pass you by. Roll the dice, take a chance. It does not matter if we win or fail so long as we try our best.

A past of gray still haunting, Shadows follow my wake,

The darkness I’m still fighting, My mind it threatens to take.

Shells of humans marching, Walking toe to toe,

Thoughtless their lives echo, For a meaning they don’t know.

I like awake in torment, Wondering if I’m to be,

This path that I keep treading, Is it the one for me?

Confusion fights for chaos, Chaos fights for peace,

When do we get our glory? When is our release?

Is there a truth, or all just lies, The answers none perceive,

I try to fight for my sanity, Still I get no reprieve.

Just to lie awake in torment, Waiting for deaths toll,

All we can do is take the dice, And hope for a winning roll..
