Disenchanted with two party rule.
Ron Paul: the light of a generation sick
of the two-party, status quo, corporate
kick-back oligarchy; the Menshevik-
in-Chief and his fawning minions: counterfeit,
flag-pinned suits, bogus as fiat, paper debt.
“Red state, blue state, purple state, pink state:”
the donkey and the pachyderm sing in duet,
dance a waltz, share a drink, then copulate.
Despite disparate parts, they make it work–
eight on bottom, eight on top, sometimes twelve;
Constitution and law sold for a perk.
The hoof and trunk tell the doctor, “Shelve
the dusty Declaration”, the senile dream,
of madmen–eyes aflame with freedom’s gleam.
