Looking out of the window of a suburban train across the sprawling roofs I spot a garden, high up but thriving…

Roof garden
Vital breath
Rural life
In urban death

Green planting
Bursting through
The bricks and tiles
And dirty roofs

Single deckchair
Sleeping man
The city dweller’s
Rescue plan

Nice poem, though I’ve never seen a garden on a roof, but it does sound like a good idea idea if you live in the city.
