At one point in time
I was know as pour man’s tea
Sipped from ceramic coffee mugs
By commoners and peasantry
And the one day it happened
It happen simply by chance
My true nature was exposed
And I became advanced
Today I’m sipped from fine china
By the elite and the king’s wife
But I remember where I came from
I’m for people from all walks of life
I am Rooibos tea
