Some visual poetry.

Repayed for my sins
I awoke from my shame
To a horizon on fire
A rose bathed in flame
The beauty was there
Alongside the pain
And inside the scorch
The heart still remained
Nothing had changed
Save the outer appearance
And that was my dream
With no sick interference
A dream to have love
Lay claim to my being
And within the moment
My eyes were agreeing
Dreams are quite real
Though few pay in full
They can shatter you down
Or build you to rule
They can cause hurt
An eternitys misery
Or bring you smile
To outlast a tragedy
They have brought empires
Down to there knees
And done the impossible
In a manner of ease
And despite all of this
I have still yet to see
Whether dreams have the power
To come and save me
