A poem written by me!
Rotation in Pairs
Rotating planets circle a shattered sun
Sickly follow the pigeons to the chosen one
Round and round a circle for a lonely friend
The bubonic plague leads us to the end
And all these questions rise in ordered fashions
Questions that show my hidden passions
Why are we not walking in the cold winter air?
I am just a tattered feather; drifting nowhere
The sages say this is the day
When temptation shall give way
A rock slide falling from the sky above
Paralyzing, ceasing, my one true love
I am a fool for thinking more
But you are a sheepish devil, sending me to folk lore
Caress a tainted soul; it’s awkward spiteful, and uncontrolled
But I still stand waiting in full
With time you’ll maybe see
That I’ll give you my all for you to be
It’s all just stars and galaxies
Circling, spiraling, aimlessly…
