The fastest filly that ever lived.

She came to this world as a gift from afar.
She ran races short and long without defeat.
Lucien Laurin said Secretariat she could beat.
She started first and finished first in all her races finished.
Noone knew her three year life would soon be diminished.
She was over seventeen hands and twelve hundred pounds,
Which was really raising the bar.
She broke down that day and left this world as a beautiful
Shooting Star.
