Take a step out your door, look at the world and realize that animals aren’t all that bad.

As I opent the door,

they all run away.

I frown, but try

the very next day.

I open the door,

as they scatter.

Must have been,

too loud of a clatter.

I turn the handle

and step outside.

They turned their heads

as I cried.

Ever since

I’ve seen those dear,

They don’t run.

They lend an ear.
