Take a step out your door, look at the world and realize that animals aren’t all that bad.
As I opent the door,
they all run away.
I frown, but try
the very next day.
I open the door,
as they scatter.
Must have been,
too loud of a clatter.
I turn the handle
and step outside.
They turned their heads
as I cried.
Ever since
I’ve seen those dear,
They don’t run.
They lend an ear.
