This is a poem of hope amidst hopelessness.

I ran fast towards west,

But Sun from the other side smiled at me,

And called me like a soft breath of an Angel,

I turned around and faced the sun,

And left my shadow stumbling from the other side…

I ran as fast as I could towards the east,

Caught every single breath in my lungs,

Wiped every drop of sweat falling from my bared skin

Then the Sun helped me through it.

I went nearer to the sun,

Stared at His radiant face,

But a voice called out my name

From the depths of the dungeon of nothingness,

It echoed in my ears….

When I looked back,

There was the shadow stumbling under my feet,

Its velvety silhouette brought me fears,

It held out its hand,

Grabbed me until I shouted of surrender.

Then as I closed my eyes,

I felt the heat of the Sun burnt my skin,

But when I looked for the devilish shadow chasing me,

It rested soundlessly under my trembling feet…!
