Happy Farewell Pastor and Sister Scrimale
Sadly I didn’t get to know you very well
Though just the few times I had the honor of your presence
That you’re both loving and very loved I could easily tell.

You both always seemed glad to see me
Welcoming me and everyone with wide open arms
It is such a pleasure to know you both
As I’ll always remember your smiles and special charms.

It’s sad though now that you will leave
Leaving so many sad hearts behind
Though you will be forever remembered by all
As very special and extra kind.

It’s funny how God plans and molds our lives
Making us into who we need to be
He definitely made a wonderful choice with you
As I have no doubt that He can see.

But I just really want to say thank you
For welcoming me into ‘Your House’
My every visit was glorious
Filled with all the blessings that God allows.

Your congregation must be devastated though
Each one with a crack in their heart
For you’ve touched so many lives I know
As you did mine right from the start.

I really wish things could have been different
And that I’d attended Your Church for a longer time
But sometimes life just gets crazy
Though it’s OK as I’ll be fine.

But I will never forget you folks or Your Church
I have memories I’ll forever hold dear
So this comes to wish you very much
Good Love, Good Luck and Good Cheer.

I know that God will always remain with you both
As you’ve taught that’s how it is with us all
But now it’s time for you to relax a bit
And enjoy some memories you probably often recall.

So I wish you much good luck
And happiness to fill all your days
As with some thanks to you
It’s now easier for me to live His ways.

So I doubt we’ll ever meet again
Though forget you, I never will
For when I first came to know you both
My heart held a hole only God could fill.

And with your help I now feel whole
Not lacking of God’s love
Filled daily with more blessings
That He sends from above.

So God Bless you both always
And God Bless all of yours too
With prayers for a continued safe journey
And goodness in all you do.

As you’ve truly touched my life
Like you’ve touched so many
You’ve done God’s work
And you’ve done it amply.
