A poem about being wildly safe!

The winter eve did cast its chill,
But summoned me to warm-ed lure,
Where pine-laden walls captured heat
Like diffusing layers of fur.
My sensual response exploded
As I unchilled beside the fire
And fixed atop the rugged floor,
Safely free of nature’s mire.
Simmering in cylindered glass,
Sugared scent of vanilla bean
Reeled the air with projected flame
Upon cinnamon-colored screen.
He appeared then, to my delight,
Like morning rays to greet the day,
With grinning eyes and soothing voice,
Demure in style, but strength in way.
He pulled me close into his chest
And wrapped me in his link-ed arms
Like precious gems in velvet case,
Where I could not resist his charms.
He kissed my lips with hungered lunge
To taste the part of me that smiled,
And we explored our appetites
Like animals out in the wild.
Safe in his cabin, I let go,
And set all inhibitions free,
Unstirred by the cold world outside,
I let his love slip into me.
