Funny poem about a teenager named Sally Flamingo.

Image via Wikipedia

Sally Flamingo was breezy and strange.

She wore a flamboyant hat upon her head.

Her eyes were rainbow colored.

And her fingernails were frosty red.

Sally Flamingo loved to eat

Tomatoes with peaches and cream.

She would sleep in her bed upside down

Which produced the most unusual dreams.

Sally was sixteen and very happy.

She had a chameleon for a pet.

Nothing ever bothered Sally Flamingo.

She never got upset.

The next time you see a young woman

With an alligator hat;

Wave hello to Sally Flamingo.

I’m sure that she’ll wave back.

Sally Flamingo was a pretty bird, red from head to toe. If you run into Sally in your town, be sure to let her know. All birds love to be flattered, wherever they might land. So tip your hat and take a picture, and avoid the flamingo droppings in the sand!
    Nice poem Steve.

Sounds like some of my dates when I was young.
